Google+ is the premiere environment for sharing and collaboration in education. Google Hangouts allow for a level of collaboration and sharing that is unsurpassed. Hangouts can be a private video conference with a designated group of people or a Hangout on Air which is recorded and broadcast LIVE on your Google+ profile, YouTube Channel and when applicable, the Event Page you created.
The purpose of this presentation is to showcase how Hangouts are used and can be used in the classroom for teaching and connecting with students as well as administrative and PD uses as well. There will be some instruction on hosting your own hangout as well.
If your school does not enable G+ or allow Hangouts on Air you can still host and participate using your gMail account.
